A Modern Learning Environment Delivered Through Scalable Modular Design
The brief
This 15,000m² extension to Xicheng Primary School was designed to accommodate growing student numbers through an efficient and scalable modular system. The volumetric approach allowed classrooms and supporting facilities to be added with minimal disruption to ongoing school operations.
Offsite manufacturing ensured consistent quality and accelerated project delivery, enabling the extension to be completed in 2022 under a tight schedule. The new spaces promote natural light, healthy airflow, and flexible teaching layouts aligned with contemporary educational standards.
The project demonstrates how modular construction supports rapid, high-quality expansion for urban K12 environments facing space and timeline constraints.
