A Multi-Functional Community Hub Built with Large-Scale Modular Efficiency
The brief
As a 19,000m² public facility, the Fuyuan Neighbourhood Centre integrates community services, activity spaces, and public amenities within a modular framework designed for efficiency and long-term performance. A total of 180 modules were manufactured to shape a cohesive and high-capacity civic complex.
The modular system enabled parallel progress between factory fabrication and onsite preparation, significantly reducing construction time within a dense urban setting. Consistency in finishes and structural precision contributed to a high-quality final environment.
Completed in 2023, the project illustrates the potential of modular construction to deliver large, community-scale developments that are faster, safer, and more predictable than traditional methods.
